Artist Statement:

“Paul” by Quinn Girard  -

Quinn Girard is a multidisciplinary artist and teacher based in Vancouver, BC. As an educator, he inspires others to explore their creativity, merging artistry and sound in innovative ways. He also loves spicy noodle soup.

Tasting Notes:

Notes of ripe BC blackberries and raspberry lead to a silky palate with ripe and round flavours of berries, smoked charcuterie and white pepper. Firm tannins carry a long finish.

The grapes for this wine comes from the Golden Mile Bench in BC's Okanagan Valley. After being harvested by hand, the grapes de-stemmed, partially crushedand cold soaked for 36 hours. The must was then allowed to naturally warm up to allow wild flora & yeast to kickstart fermentation. The wine was gently pumped over every 2 days until fermented to dryness. The juice was then transferred to neutral oak barrels to age for 24 months, during which it under went secondary fermentation. Bottled directly from the barrel, unfined & unfiltered.
